Northern Territory places sixth in global events top 100

The Northern Territory’s events industry continues to grow its presence on the world stage,
with the Northern Territory Major Events Company (NTMEC) placing sixth in the prestigious
Eventex Awards Top 100 Event Organisers and Agencies for 2023.

NTMEC has climbed the ladder from ninth place in last year’s Top 100 and is the only
Australian company to make the Top 10. Only three Australian companies made the Top 100.
The highly anticipated list of global event organisations recognises consistent excellence in
the global international events industry.

NTMEC CEO Suzana Bishop said the awards are testament to what events can achieve for a
community, and the people who go above and beyond to deliver incredible events.

“To see the Northern Territory appearing in not just the global Top 100, but the global Top
10, is incredible,” Mrs Bishop said.
