Corelle extends ever popular Livingware range with new South Beach and Ruby Red patterns

Corelle extends ever popular Livingware range with new South Beach and Ruby Red patterns

Give your dining table a much-needed pop of colour just in time for spring

Functional, stylish and always ready for a party, Corelle is extending its versatile Livingware collection with the launch of two new affordable patterns, South Beach and Ruby Red, available exclusively at Big W from September 2014.

Inspired by the popular bright colours and contemporary flair of South Beach, Miami, Corelle’s new South Beach pattern is perfect for fun and casual entertaining. Its colourful and energetic combination of lime green and turquoise will bring a burst of energy to any table.

For a simpler yet cheerful look, the red and white palette of Ruby Red is sure to blend into both modern and traditional kitchens, in addition to existing dinner sets with ease.

Staying true to Corelle’s definition of versatility, this range contains all the pieces you need including a dinner plate, luncheon plate, cereal bowl, and stoneware mug that will make every meal feel like a special occasion.

Corelle’s signature Vitrelle glass technology delivers on its reputation of lightweight, break, scratch and chip resistant dinnerware with legendary strength that is also non-porous and designed to withstand the rigors of everyday life but still look great. This unique glass technology originally developed as part of first-generation TV screens in the 1940’s ensures the collection is oven, microwave and dishwasher safe.

Corelle’s affordable and robust dinnerware has kept kitchens and dining rooms in step with the times for more than 40 years. The colour, patterns, shapes, and even embossing, have kept Corelle dinnerware contemporary, versatile and fashionably fun, earning its place at both the weeknight dinner table and sophisticated gatherings. Revolutionising the market in 1970 when it introduced its break, chip and scratch resistant technology, the Corelle brand has become recognised worldwide.

About Corelle

Introduced in 1970, Corelle is the original break and chip resistant glass dinnerware recognised worldwide for its legendary strength and durability.  The first of its kind when developed, Corelle glass dinnerware underlying technology was an achievement of Corning Glass Works R&D scientists. During its first decade, Corelle glass dinnerware was virtually sold out—even before it was made. Within 18 months after Corelle dinnerware was first placed on sale, more than 40 million pieces had been sold – an unprecedented record. Today it is estimated that nearly half of all households have Corellebreak- and chip-resistant dinnerware in their kitchens.
