Pizza Hut Deception Bay open for business, looking for staff

Pizza Hut Deception Bay open for business, looking for staff

Pizza Hut has opened its first-ever store in Deception Bay QLD, and is looking for five local staff to complete its team.

Anyone interested is invited to apply through the Pizza Hut website.

Pizza Hut Head of Development, Andy Masood, said the new store has already hired 18 full-time and casual local employees and is already looking to grow the team due to the success of the store’s opening weeks.

“Many Australians begin their working lives with Pizza Hut every year. Our young staff learn everything from customer service skills to food preparation and cleanliness,” Masood said.

The opening of the Deception Bay franchise falls part of Pizza Hut’s local and national expansion plans.

“There are many growth opportunities in Queensland and nationally. Our store distribution in Queensland is 75 and we expect to eventually expand to 130 in the Sunshine State. Nationally we will end the year reaching the milestone of 300 stores in Australia and 83 stores in New Zealand,” Masood said.

Pizza Hut Deception Bay is ready to take orders at 378 Deception Bay Road. Opening hours are from 11am to 10pm Sunday to Thursday, and 11am to 11pm Friday and Saturday.
