SodaStream will fizz football fans once again in Super Bowl 2014

SodaStream will fizz football fans once again in Super Bowl 2014

SodaStream International Ltd has recently announced that the company will kick off its 2014 global ad campaign during Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday, February 2, 2014.   This marks the second consecutive year that the world’s leading home carbonation system will be among some 40 elite brands advertising during the broadcast.

“The Super Bowl is a proven venue for SodaStream to deliver our beverage revolution message to over 100 million viewers, empowering consumers to enjoy a smarter, “better-for-you” alternative to packaged soda,” said Daniel Birnbaum, CEO of SodaStream.

“The soda industry is dated and ripe for disruption. Our strong growth demonstrates that SodaStream is blazing the trail to a future where it will be mainstream for people to easily make fresh, delicious soda at home, no longer needing to lug bottles and cans of soda that can be unhealthy, often go flat, and generate billions of tons of garbage.”

SodaStream offers Australians a smart way to enjoy sparkling beverages transforming ordinary tap water into delicious carbonated soft drinks, cocktails and refreshing sparkling water in seconds. All in an environmentally responsible way by virtually eliminating the need for single-use plastic bottles and aluminium cans.

Fun and simple to use, soda lovers can create and control their own flavour combinations by mixing and matching from over 40 flavoured syrups including classic flavours like Cola, Ginger Ale and Lime as well as the Stevia, Sugar Free and Night Spirit ranges. The range of SodaStream flavours are fresh, taste great, and compared to pre-packaged carbonated drinks, they are lower in carbohydrates and contain up to two thirds less sugar.

“SodaStream is leading a revolution in the beverage industry with a convenient, cost effective system that gives Australians beverage freedom, choice and control,” said Myles Anceschi, Managing Director of SodaStream Australia.

“Last year SodaStream’s Super Bowl ad significantly raised our brand profile and established SodaStream as a true challenger brand. This year, the US team is undoubtedly set to create an unforgettable viewer experience and we can’t wait to share this with Australians.”

Super Bowl XLVIII will air in the USA on FOX on February 2, 2014 from MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The SodaStream ad is scheduled to appear during the fourth quarter of the game.
