Throughout September 2025, the second annual Meet the Makers Festival returned to NSW's stunning South Coast for a month of culinary adventure and creative inspiration.

Based in Milton, where country soul meets coastal cool, the festival featured more than 30 delicious, inspiring and exclusive experiences – all of which showcased the region's vibrant community of passionate makers.

Access PR managed the publicity to put the festival firmly on the map and drive visitors and locals to each event, from long lunches to wine-blending workshops to masterclasses in croissant making.

Given the amazing chefs and artisans involved, as well as the extraordinary hospitality community at Milton, we implemented a publicity plan that targeted key audiences across local, interstate and national media based around storytelling and beautiful imagery.

We worked hard to ensure the festival was featured in What's On listings, national food media like Good Food, and lifestyle media like Concrete Playground. We also hosted Time Out over the opening weekend for both social media and online coverage.

The results? All events were sold out and media coverage far exceeded the organisers' expectations. And this was achieved with zero budget other than our agency fee.
