Chatting with strangers on Facebook is now easier with Messenger Request, a new function on Messenger which makes it easier for people to receive messages from people they don’t know.
Bacon lovers worldwide bemoaned news from the World Health Organisation which revealed that processed meats cause cancer. The twitterverse rallied against the news with the hashtags #FreeBacon, #Bacongeddon and #JeSuisBacon amongst the top trending topics. Not surprisingly, negative tweets the news outnumbered positive ones by a ratio of nearly 7 to 1.

The $97 million movie is a 15-minute short film which was created to publicise the new venue. The shoot reportedly took five days – not a bad hourly rate for a week’s work hey?
