1.  ‘Alexa’ can understand sign language
As voice interfaces becomes the future of computing, a new modification allows Alexa to understand basic sign language. Software developer Abhishek Singh created the modification, which decodes gestures into text and speech.

2. VR to help dementia patients
Virtual Reality technology is being used to help people around the world living with dementia, connecting patients with memories and assisting in mobility.

3. These gold AirPods cost $10k
An LA-based company is selling $10,000 AirPods plated in 24 karat gold. Perfect for all the Kanyes in your life. 

4. Snapcashing out
Snapchat will end its mobile payment service, Snapcash, by the end of August. Launched four years ago, Snapcash allowed users to transfer money between accounts on the platform.

5. Sun-grilled burgers on the menu 
Burger King took advantage of Kuwait’s scorching 46 degree heat by finding a creative way to sun-grill their famous Whopper.
