2. NZ sports stars celebrate diversity
The All Blacks and Black Ferns have taken a stand for inclusivity with the release of a new video campaign, Diversity is Strength. The video showcases new jerseys, which are black on the surface and reveal a rainbow colour pattern when stretched.
3. Google announces new coding app
New app Grasshopper is teaching users how to code without the complications. Bite-sized puzzles and quizzes help users learn the basics of code right through to animations. Now there really is an app for everything.
4. Apple now powered by renewable energy
This week Apple announced its global facilities are powered with 100 per cent clean energy. In a commitment to tackling climate change, the tech giant announced its renewable energy projects have reduced Apple's greenhouse gas emissions by 54% since 2011.
5. Airbnb's new event tool
Airbnb has announced a new tool for event organisers, Airbnb for Events. Allowing users to create an interactive map of accommodation close to their events, the new tool will also offer event organisers an opportunity for events to be marketed on the platform.
