Lilydale to launch its first-ever whole free range fresh turkey
Australia’s favourite producer of free range premium chicken, Lilydale, will launch its first-ever fresh marinated turkey on Monday 19 December 2011. Available for a limited time only, Lilydale’s fresh marinated turkey can be purchased until Christmas Eve, Saturday 24 December 2011.
Ideal for Christmas lunch or dinner, Lilydale’s free range turkey is marinated for tenderness, with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
Lilydale’s Brand Manager, Laurel Brown said: “We’re very excited to launch our first-ever free range turkey – especially in time for the Christmas celebrations.
“Our farmers have been working to provide this addition to our range for Lilydale in response to strong customer demand, and we’re really pleased that Lilydale can provide delicious choices that offer the same brand values that Lilydale is known and loved for.
“Marinating the turkey means the hard work of preparing a traditional Christmas turkey is already done. You can merely cook and serve, or even try the recipe we have provided on the back of each pack.”
Available in varying weight sizes ranging between 3kg and 5kg, Lilydale’s fresh marinated turkey is perfect for feeding a Christmas crowd.
“The generous sizes of our fresh marinated turkeys combined with a couple of favourite traditional festive side dishes will make it a delicious feast for family and friends this Christmas,” said Brown.
Lilydale’s fresh marinated turkey will sell for RRP $11.99 per kilogram and will be available nationally (excluding WA) until 24 December 2011. It can be found at Harris Farm Markets in Sydney, Thomas Dux stores, selected Franklins and IGA stores, Lilydale chicken shops and other quality poultry retailers nationally (excluding WA). Lilydale’s fresh marinated turkey is an addition to the brand’s expanding range of delicious free range premium chicken products including the Cranberry and Macadamia Festive Chicken, which is available now for a limited time only.
Lilydale turkeys are raised naturally, free to roam outdoors in chemical-free pastures. They are fed a nutritious, well balanced diet which is free from GM ingredients, and are accredited by FREPA.
