BWM bolsters creative department with senior appointment


Belgiovane Williams Mackay has significantly boosted its creative power with the appointment of internationally awarded Matt Smith as creative group head.

Over the past four years Smith worked as Saatchi & Saatchi’s joint regional creative director on Proctor & Gamble across Central Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa regions.

Under his leadership, the teams across the regions, from Dubai to Russia to Israel, won numerous international and local ad festivals, including Cannes.

“Matt is the perfect combination of outstanding creativity and equally outstanding results on big brands – we are thrilled to have him return to Australia to join us,” said BWM executive creative director Rob Belgiovane.

Smith will work across all disciplines with creative director Rocky Ranallo, creative director – direct marketing Rob Morrisson, and digital group head Ray Leggott.
