Starcom Melbourne appoints new General Manager


Starcom MediaVest Group Chief Operating Officer Chris Nolan today announced the appointment of Michael Leeds as General Manager of Starcom’s Melbourne office.

Leeds has worked at Starcom for 12 years with roles including Media Executive, Client Business Manager, and most recently Group Business Director.

He has worked across various clients, including Mars, General Motors Premium, Suncorp Group, Victoria Government and Snooze. Among Leeds’ many achievements, he has developed numerous award winning media campaigns and most recently helped create the Cannes Gold Lion award-winning work for Mars, with the Mars “Strauchanie” campaign. He also launched Hummer in Australia.

Leeds will report to Nolan in the newly-created role of General Manager. His role is effective from March 1.

“Michael has been an incredibly loyal employee, has developed outstanding client and team leadership skills and is widely respected by the media industry. I congratulate Michael on achieving this promotion and look forward to a successful year for Starcom Melbourne,” Nolan said.
