SBS ratings release for week 50, 2009


Man vs Wild captured 593,000 viewers in the five metro areas and 335,000 in regional Australia, according to figures from OzTAM.

The still-popular program is achieving more than double the year-to-date average audience in the Monday 8.30pm timeslot, with 526,000 metro viewers and 310,000 regional.

The second episode of new food and lifestyle program, Oz & James’s Big Wine Adventure, attracted 305,000 viewers in metro areas and 162,000 in regional.

The informative and entertaining show that guides viewers to French regions and wines lifted the timeslot’s metro audience average by 20 per cent since SBS’s new Food and Lifestyle programs launched in August this year.

Finally, Sunday’s documentary History of Scotland appealed to 447,000 metro viewers and 215,000 regional.
