oOh!media introduces adstream's Quickcut online file delivery service


oOh!media has teamed up with the advertising distribution and workflow specialist, adstream, to become the first out-of-home media company to offer the online file delivery service.

Under the new partnership, advertising agencies are able to work with the Quickcut software - which is the primary delivery and validation method for all other print advertising - to prepare and validate artwork for large format and retail advertising panels and the ability to transfer it online to oOh! for final production.

John Purcell, Operations Manager at oOh! said the introduction of the service will be a valuable time saver for clients compared to the current process, where clients send discs by courier or use FTP sites, which may not be secure.

“oOh! has prided itself on making the process of buying out-of-home easier and now, by implementing this system, we are making the production aspect of out-of-home advertising much simpler,” Purcell said.

“Quickcut offers a seamless delivery system that enables advertising agencies to deliver, track and manage files using a fast, easy and secure application.

“What’s more, the application will guarantee all materials are 100 per cent correct when we receive it, as Quickcut conducts over 280 validation checks on the artwork, highlighting any potential specification issues before it can be sent.”
