SBS ratings release for week 47, 2009


Man vs Wild achieved an audience of 506,000 viewers in the five mainland capital cities and 291,000 in regional Australia last week, according to figures from OzTAM.

Meanwhile Top Gear maintains position as SBS’s most-watched program in the current schedule, with first-run episodes of its Winter Olympics Special attracting 695,000 metro viewers and 332,000 regional.

Cooking up an authentic storm, Luke Nguyen’s Vietnam attracted 292,000 viewers in metro areas and 155,000 in regional, lifting the timeslot’s average by 11 per cent*.

Finally, Mythbusters cleared things up for 289,000 metro viewers and 166,000 regional.
