SBS ratings release for week 45, 2009


Man vs Wild continues to put its best paw forward, attracting 436,000 viewers in the five mainland capital cities and was the most watched SBS program in regional Australia last week, according to figures from OzTAM.

The adventures of Bear Grylls have averaged 452,000 metro viewers in the series to date, for a 61 per cent improvement on the timeslot average.

Demetri’s Castle debuted on Thursday with a promising 292,000 metro viewers and 181,000 regional.

The program tracks the roller-coaster ride of emotions and never-ending financial problems when hairdressing and make-artists Demetri and Lila Sideropoulos decide to open a luxury retreat at the historic Glynt Manor near Melbourne.

Discovering the genes behind John Butler, Who Do You Think You Are? attracted 380,000 viewers in metro areas and 145,000 in regional.
