Cowan Sydney announces new creative head
Leading Australian branding and design company Cowan today has announced the appointment of a new Creative Director John-Paul Hunter to its Sydney team, following an extensive global search.
Hunter will head up a team of designers in the Sydney business, and will take creative responsibility for the business’s portfolio of clients including Goodman Fielder, Nestle, Coca-Cola and Kimberly Clark.
Cowan Sydney General Manager Grant Simpson said: “John-Paul will bring to Cowan Sydney first class global experience across both FMCG and corporate brand design, building on the strength of our offer to clients across both business areas.â€
Hunter joins Cowan from the UK, where he has held senior positions in both FMCG and corporate brand design.
He was Design Director for leading London agency Coley Porter Bell where he worked with a strong portfolio of FMCG clients including Chivas Brothers, Cadbury Schweppes, Nestle and Unilever.
In the UK he was also Creative Director for Designhouse, focussing on corporate brand identity work for ABN AMRO, Telewest, ING and Royal Bank of Scotland, among others.
Hunter began with Cowan Sydney this week.
