Access Public Relations wins Top Gear Live


Access Public Relations has been appointed by Brand Events Australia to handle publicity for Top Gear Live 2010, which returns to Australia next February as part of an extensive new world tour.

Top Gear UK program presenters Jeremy Clarkson and James May, plus a yet-to-be announced special guest, will present the all-new show featuring The Stig and stunt team’s precision driving, smashes, customised cars and Top Gear Live’s trademark special effects.

The tour will also include the Top Gear Festival, which gives patrons an extended hands-on motoring experience.

Access Public Relations Managing Partner Andrea Kerekes said: "It is fantastic to be part of another exciting major event, particularly around such an exciting brand as Top Gear."

The win follows its appointment by the Sydney Comedy Festival to publicise the new two-day festival event, World’s Funniest Island, on Sydney’s Cockatoo Island, to be held this weekend.

Access Public Relations will begin work immediately and Top Gear Live will hit Australia on February 11-14, 2010 at Sydney’s Acer Arena.
