Background

Access PR was appointed to drive entries and funds raised for the annual Walk4Life fundraising event held by renowned brain surgeon Dr Charlie Teo’s charity Cure For Life Foundation. We also worked closely with the team at Cure For Life on the event itself. A key goal was to more than double the event registrations to 500.

Results

Through a series of individually pitched interviews, we generated almost three million media impressions. More than 600 registered for the event and extensive media coverage was achieved, including a profile of Dr Teo on 7.30 on ABC TV.
